Paradoxide – Climate Jam Project

In Paradoxide, you take on the role of an oil field supervisor, tasked with reporting your company’s pollutant levels to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). While you care about the environment, you’re constantly pressured by your superiors to falsify reports for profit maximization. This creates a moral dilemma: prioritize the environment or your career?

The game’s name, Paradoxide, reflects the difficult balance between protecting nature and providing for your family. Every choice you make has significant consequences, leading to multiple possible endings.

This project was created for Climate Jam 2024, and we aimed to challenge players to think critically about the decisions they make in this delicate balance. Time constraints meant we developed three endings, but feel free to explore and provide feedback!
